Starbucks Reserve Roastery - Shanghai
First Timer, One Place, The Biggest, Coffee Market, Game-Changer.
Those four big words are the best description for my experience when I visited Starbucks Reserve Roaster in Shanghai back in December 2017. This place recently opened about a month ago, sometime early December and the place is already super crowded. I was there on Sunday early-mid day around 11 am and the place is super packed! This 30,000-square-foot Starbucks Roastery is the New IT place in Shanghai; whether you want to grab a quick coffee or dine in by getting their awesomely-fresh-delicious pastries. YES! Their Pastries are to die for. Yes, I repeat, TO.DIE.FOR. why? well, it's seriously freshly made from scratch and perfectly baked.
Starbucks Reserve Roastery offers different kinds of coffee and teas that are specially made their (it's like their signature Menu). Not only that, they also sell merchandise for you to purchase too (but it is waaaaaay overpriced). The price for the drinks and food are 3 times higher than the regular price, I guess it's because they have different (and special) menus that are only offered at this specific place.
Overall, the experience that I had in Starbucks Shanghai is good. Other than the downside of OVER-CROWDED & OVER-PRICED drinks and food, this place is the perfect place for me to have breakfast. If you are a Starbucks Fan, I suggest you come to this place cause you'll be surprised with what they provide! You surely deserve 8/10 for your food, 5/10 for your place because it's just too crowded, and 7/10 for your drinks!
