The Shanghai Dessert | Coffee List.
Hey foodie lovers! If you have been following my personal Instagram, you should know that I was in Shanghai about two weeks ago and been binge dessert eating & coffee drinking for the whole five days! Let me tell you, Shanghai is one of the best cities that I LOVE in terms of Food, Dessert & of course, Coffee.

But all in all, let me highlight some of my favorite dessert & coffee there! and i'll throw in some snacks that I had there too!.
The Sumerian: Dear dear love, I have never tasted good coffee + amazing, let me repeat to you: A-MAZING BAGELS! yes, BAGELS! I am not really a fan of bagels myself but this one is an exception! It's crunchy (yes, you are reading it right, crunchy) & Soft!
Simply Better: First of all, THIS IS ALL COFFEE. YES, COFFEE. no, not a coffee cake, it's pure coffee (Cream on the top, coffee at the bottom. Uh-huh, I thought it was a freakin cake that made me order 2. But damn, you get the chocolate taste, vanilla-like cream taste and the perfect brewed coffee taste. 3 in 1 that completes me, entirely.
Starbucks Reserve Roastery: The biggest, The best place for you to hang out with your friends early, (I mean 7 am - 8 am early) in the morning before you go to work! This is the infamous Biggest Roastery that opens recently (December'17) and damn, this place can be packed in the afternoon. Make sure you're prepared for the 3x regular Starbucks Price cause this place serves everything from Tea, their own Cocktail-Coffee, and special drinks that's only available at this place (Regular coffee are 3x more expensive too). Be sure to score this particular croissant cause well, it's the best thing I've ever eaten in terms of, duh, croissant. It's always sold-out in the afternoon though, so the earlier you get-up, the better chance you'll score this so-called-croissant (can't remember the name).
S. Engine Coffee: People love this place, for me it's just gonna be my last stop. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's just OK to be honest. The place is always packed with people working (don't expect quiet place-kind-of-work, it's not). Coffee is just ok, but the cakes are nice! Be sure to check it out if you don't have any other things to do...
Cha's: It's not a dessert place. It's a Cantonese restaurant that serves the perfect, chewy, amazing PINEAPPLE BUN. nope, not a big fan of the fruit itself but damn, this BUN IS NEXT LEVEL! be sure to check out this place for lunch too!!
Shanghai Disneyland: Wait, what? THIS CUTE LITTLE POPSICLE IS JUST.... Refreshing. To be honest, Shanghai Disneyland's snacks are not that nice, but this...is an exception. On a hot sunny day, you gotta have this Popsicle to brighten your day! A big fan of Lemonade? Well, this is the right food/drink to get!
La Moda: This small Dessert/Coffee place is highly recommended, especially if you're into flowers! The place is pretty small but it's surrounded by flowers (well, it's a kind of florist-cafe style). But they serve cute desserts that taste delishh too! Coffee was not bad, but if you like Champagne, I think it's better for you to order that (but I didn't get the chance to try it tho..). Get the coconut dessert cake (can't remember the name) cause it's so gooood!
