The Union Kitchen - Copenhagen

A good brunch sure brightens everyone’s day. Damn, I should find another opening sentence.

Well if you’re Indonesian, definitely this place is not the same as Union Restaurant or Union Cafe or Union Deli in Jakarta, that’s for sure. This is the ultimate Copenhagen must-go-spot. I mean, look at those Avo toast. Look at those Croque Madame. Mm-hmm, it tastes better than it looks.

The Union Kitchen was actually open its door in the year of 2014 If I’m not mistaken and has been very successful since then. They close pretty late, 11 pm on weekdays and 12 am on weekends. It’s 5 minutes away from the famous Nyhavn Waterfront and it’s surrounded by cute little shops and also other coffee shops. However, this place is one of the crowded ones. People actually LINEUP to get in.

People usually dress to impress, but in terms of food? This food definitely impress me with their looks. But the moment I had that first bite, I held my breath for a minute and let go. Gotta say, this is one of the best breakfasts I ever had. I mean, cute coffee? Check. Perfect food? Check. I mean, this is CRAZY!

Avotoast: perfect guac & perfectly cooked eggs benedict. Look at those chili flakes in fiyaaah 🔥 it works, surprisingly, it works.

Coffee: i mean, the color is on point af, need I say how it tastes like? 🤪

Croque Madame: Madame, you are well served. It’s Gooey, it’s cheesy, it’s perfect!
