Sisterfields - Bali

By far, one of the best brunch in Bali is this place. Straight to the point, no questions asked. Don’t get me started on the bathroom mirror (full of quotes and perfect place for taking pictures). Sisterfields gives the chill state of mind. At first I thought it was just well, overrated (people tend to go to cute places rather than enjoying their meals, I prefer both), turns out no. This brunch place change the whole game of brunches (does this make sense at all?)

From the simplest breakfast such as sunny side up eggs, bacon, mushroom, yada yada yada to Egg Benedict. the classic Egg Benedict. Let’s start with breaking down the food:

Salmon Benedict: popped capers, shallot, dill, mustard cress, and sourdough.

I am a Salmon person, I am addicted to SALMON! Yes I do. This dish is simple yet delish in different way. Like for instance, the mustard. Dear food god, this is sooo good! It makes the dish itself appetizing. And damn, the taste? ugh, don’t even ask about this.

Sisterfields Big Breakfast: Eggs your way, Bacon, Mushroom, Roasted Tomato, Potato Rosti, Hollandaise, and Sourdough

My mom & dad always go for the “safe” kind of brunch dish. The tomato was okay, mushroom, eggs and sourdough are perfect. The only downside is the bacon, we like it crispy and this bacon is just chewy, not crispy. Not a big fan of the bacon but overall it’s still a good breakfast dish to enjoy.

Coffee: GOOD! perfect, a bit light. I mean, it’s latte afterall.

Orange Juice: fresh, that’s for sure. I find it just okay somehow.

Overall, I’d give this place a 8/10 for Bali brunch. Not all Bali brunch can serve this good! The service sometimes sucks though and well, when you’re there why don’t you check out their other sister restaurants next to them, Bossman (Burger) and U LOOK HOT IN BIKINI.
