A Few Hours Outside of Jakarta.
It keeps on raining these past 2 weeks. A little escape from Jakarta was a good idea.
I tried to find a place that's not too city-ish, not too far and not too crowded,
Bogor.
I would say Bogor doesn't really sound like a good place for people to go to
cause there's literally nothing to explore.
But don't get me wrong, they have the best Traditional Indonesian Food!
Let me elaborate to you in two different pictures
&
a coffee shop that almost looks like you're in a complete different place:
Soto Mie Ciseeng: This dish is one of the most popular traditional dishes in Bogor; it is a Noodle Soup! For this particular Soto Mie it contains Tripe, Beef and also a little bit of veggies. This Soto Mie is cooked in a more Chinese way but still delicious! I would give this place a 7/10.
Ngohiang: It's a Unique dish that I HAVE NEVER Tried before in my life. It turns out that it's a kind of chicken, wrapped in a fried starch as its skin and topped with a peanut sauce. Deserves a 7.5/10 for its unique & awesome taste.
Don't forget to get Asinan Bogor & Roti Unyil (I recommend you get it from Venus)
to bring home!
