A Weekend Getaway - Lakeside Rancabali

When you’re living in a busy capital city of Jakarta: the fast paced, the tall buildings, the traffic, and the polluted air - you need a short break from all of those. It’s not hard to find somewhere peaceful and beautiful when you’re in Indonesia.

The 12 of us decided to pack our bags and go on a road trip. One of my friends found this wonderful glamping site near Bandung called Lakeside Rancabali. We planned on this road trip 1 month prior our planned date and how surprised we were when we found out the place is indeed - breathtaking. It took us about 5 hours on a Friday to go to Bandung and we stayed there for a night - enjoying the good food and cute cafes around our hotel. On the second day we headed to Ciwidey that is approximately about 1.5 hour ride from Bandung and how surprised we were when we found out the place is indeed - breathtaking.

The weather was perfect - blue skies, birds chirping and what a beautiful view. The glamping room? It’s incredible. These are the lists of the rooms available and we rented 2 of the “Sayang Heulang Tent.” There are two bedrooms and two beds that’s in the middle of the room. This glamping site is perfect if you’re indeed looking for a place of peace and to go back to nature. Beware though, the weather gets crazy cold at night, it even reached 46°F (8°C). My advice? Bring a thick blanket cause trust me, you need to.

Different activities are being offered here and I was excited for visiting their Tea Plantation. It was calming and soothing in a way. Pictured below were our rooms and the tea plantation surroundings. Really hoping you could experience this sometime soon!
