Sayan House - Ubud, Bali
A peaceful area that is filled with fine dining restaurants overlooking the rice field or the hilltop views. Visiting Ubud seems like the best decision you’ll ever made when you’re in Bali. You can breathe the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful view that surrounds you.
Finding great restaurants in Ubud is pretty easy, choosing which spot to try first - that’s the hardest part. My Ubud list was quite a lot (still is and increasing) but I’ve finally made the decision of trying something different. Let me ask you this, a touch of Japanese and Latin American food style sounds a little bit odd isn’t it? But that oddness makes me want to try this specific place that seems to have a romantic setting. Turns out - it’s one of the most popular spots in Ubud.
The Sayan House is located in Raya Sayan that is near Four Seasons Ubud. Nestled in a jungle, this restaurant has a magnificent view that brings you out of your conscious and become so connected with the surroundings. It was 6 pm when I visited - just after sunset & it was quite crowded that day. My parents were in awe and amazed both with the view & food.
Food Rundown:
Overall, I really like how the food are balanced in flavor and spice. It is one of the best spots you should visit if you’re looking to have an intimate setting, good view & great food. Disclaimer though - when you’re in Ubud, gotta always be ready to pay a high price cause this is considered a fine-dining place. Still - it was well worth it and promising myself that I will come back to try out other dishes.
