Here’s Looking at You - Los Angeles

Catchy name, isn’t it? If you’re looking to catch up with your friends after work & feeling quite adventurous, Here’s Looking At You is the answer.

Their catchy name + hipster vibe literally create fun and unique food experiments. With a mixture of American - Asian Fusion cuisine, they actually are able to made it. I noticed how they decorated the surroundings full with wall-decors such as animal heads, paintings and not forgetting some hipster photographs. The menu is full of exciting choices to get - even I got confused what to order.

Food Rundown:

Frog’s Legs: it’s crispy but it’s a tad too spicy. Their chili peppers are so strong and you gotta be ready to get your hands dirty to enjoy this dish right here. Not our most fav here tho.

Bone Marrow: I was thinking Bestia kind of Bone Marrow - turns out it’s different. Bestia is more on the sweeter side and this ones salty enough that made me stop eating after the first bite . If you prefer salty bone marrow - I can definitely give you a heads up for this one.

Beef Tartare : This damn raw beef is indeed next level. The combination of this bad boys is so special that you can’t stop thinking about it after that first bite. Oh - and don’t get me started on the bread - it’s sooooooo good til I ordered twice!

Tomato , Bagna Cauda: literally helps to kind of reset your palate after trying out those bizarre dishes. Love the crunch tho - but it’s just ok don’t expect something more out of this.

Chicken Liver : oh god. Stop the time right now - I personally hate any kind of liver (except foie gras) but this is another exception. The taste is just sooo good it reminds you why you’re there in the first place.
And the BAGUETTE - that crisp make everything perfect.

Chardonnay - Veuve Forny ‘Grand Reserve’ 1er Cru Brut Cote Des Blancs : this perfect glass of wine is the perfect pair to accompany all of the food being served. Their medium body is just so amazing & I started to regret for just ordering only one glass of wine.
