Falling in Love with Analog.
The Adrenaline Rush, The Feeling, The Connection & finally, The Result.
Analog Camera. I started to explore them in the end of 2022, let’s just simply say it was on December 2022 before the year ended - I wanted to try something new. To be perfectly honest, I’m the type of person who gets bored easily - like when I was playing Counter Strike for a while and then I got bored after 3 games.
Like when I started to get addicted to Ragnarok in the year of 2000s and bought their “voucher-for-play” and spent too much amount of money to play it but.. ended up stop playing after a year.
Well - that’s just me. Someone who always try to find new hobby, someone who doesn’t even bother to carry out a conversation nowadays when the other person don’t even try.
But Analog Camera, the one I got hooked - still, after almost 9 months in.
Started my analog journey through researching some point and shoot camera. Considered to get disposable camera but I wanted to get myself committed, so finally got my first - very first, Kodak Ektar H35 in Lime Green.
The first 3 film rolls - only 30% of the photos were clear enough to see - until, my camera was broken. Yup, you hear that right. My goddamn almost $60 camera got broken after 3 film rolls, cause I did not know how to rewind my film rolls properly.
But I did not stop there - ended up going to Singapore to try my second camera - ilford sprite 35-ii - which we will come back to this later.
The Feeling, The Vibe, The Love - True love, I find it all three. Thank you Analog, glad to have you in my life. :’)
