Bikini Restaurant - Bali
“U LOOK HOT IN BIKINI” - I bet you’ve seen this famous tagline whenever you’re on your way to Sisterfields Restaurant. The famous restaurant that is connected to Sisterfields opens late at night and it’s known for its unique food & cocktail drinks. You can see many people come and go late at night - cause they only open for dinner to late night drinks. The owner is the same as Sisterfields but it is more into like a kindof Gastronomy style.
The place itself is quite dark that gives a sense of romantic and also elegant ambiance. It is one of the best fine dining places for you to try whenever you’re in Bali. Bikini itself concept is created by Australians and they work with local production teams. The food literally gives a sense of art to the next level - their plating skills are beyond. It is indeed - an experimental and exciting dining experience.
Food Rundown:
Chicken Satay, Ginger Mayo, Quinoa: I am a big fan of quinoa and chicken satay - but hates ginger. Well, this one an exceptional dish. It’s my fav in the entire menu. The combinations are just right. It’s just a LOVE LOVE relationship - no love-hate relationship tho.
Bacon & Egg en Concotte, Brioche, Truffle Foam: this is surprisingly quite good. It’s unique cause they put it inside a of a jewelry box. It’s small but pretty much filling cause it’s a brioche afterall.
To be honest, I can’t really remember the name tho. But all I can remember this weird looking dish deserves an almost standing ovation taste. It is somehow interesting, weirdly delicious.
It’s either a Hamachi or Salmon, but this dish is light, fresh, and a great way to start your meal.
Kinda disappointed with this drink - I wasn’t able to finished it cause it’s just not up to my taste.
I had a quite high expectation for this specific spot but once is enough - I wouldn’t come back unless they recreate a new menu cause it’s expensive and not wow enough. Although - I really like the place itself. Location wise is perfect too. Deserves an 5.5/10 for overall experience.
