Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food - oftentimes thoughts in my head or even write pieces about love or life. Hope you have a nice stay!

Let me get this straight, I was not a fan of whisky. Why do you ask? I know it’s Fun, Strong and Manly in a way but I used to hate it so much. Overtime, after finding out that my brother is actually a whisky-fan, he booked a Yamazaki Tour in Suntory Yamazaki Distillery back when I was traveling to Osaka with him. A little bit of background:

Yamazaki Distillery became the first whisky distillery in the year of 1923. It has become an authentic whisky. Their first whisky that was released is called Suntory Whisky ‘Shirofuda’ or Suntory Whisky ‘White Label’ in the year of 1929.

So we took the whole Yamazaki Whisky Tour where we were introduce with how whisky is made from scratch. The tour was, how do I say this.. interesting. We actually had the opportunity where we get to try different whisky too.

The tour itself was in Japanese, but they gave us a audio-guide kindof device to follow what the tour-guide explain to us.

Time for the Whiskey tasting!

It’s interesting how they have English version of the whiskey descriptions (while they present in Japanese), feels like I’m back in College class!
